Janice O'Shea is a native of Colorado and has fished since she was 8 years old. She has fly fished more than 20 years. Janice is a veteran teacher with degrees in elementary and secondary education. She has turned her passion and commitment for the outdoors to guiding and teaching Fly Fishing in Colorado. Janice established her company, Trout Trips, LLC, several years ago, and is currently the guide service for 3 fly shops in the Denver metro area. She is anxious to share her knowledge and provide a memorable flyfishing experience for you.

Trout Trips Guide PhotoAlan Reyes

Alan Reyes is a first-generation native of Colorado and a fisherman since early childhood. His first fly fishing experience was the spring of 1974 in Arizona, fishing for Crappies and Large Mouth Bass at Pena Blanca Lake. He is proficient at many types of fishing including Fly, Spinning, and Ice Fishing. He has fished for nearly all species of North American freshwater and warm-water fish. His first love is fly fishing, on rivers, streams and stillwater. He is a Life Member of Trout Unlimited and involves himself in stream improvement projects and conservation issues through TU. He has been instructing Fly Fishing and Casting for years. He says it is one of the most enjoyable things in life. He also has a keen interest in Icthyology, which is Zoology specializing in the study of fish.

Guide: Gregg FriedmanGregg Friedman

Gregg Friedman, an avid outdoor sports enthusiast, moved full time to Colorado in 1978 and began fly fishing and fly tying at that time. He became a full time trout bum and guide/instructor beginning in 1996 and has been teaching fly fishing, fly casting and fly tying ever since. He has guided extensively in Rocky Mountain National Park and the surrounding area, as well as other waters thoughout the state of Colorado. He is a Federation of Fly Fishers Certified Casting Instructor and loves to teach casting, fly tying and Fly fishing skills to anyone from the beginner to advanced angler.
In addition to his fishing experience in Colorado and the rest of the Rocky Mountain West, Gregg has traveled extensively chasing fresh and saltwater fish through out North America, the Caribbean, Central America and the South Pacific. It's a tough job but somebody's got to do it.
Nobody enjoys helping other people to catch fish or improve their skills than Gregg.

Kay DuShane has been fly fishing the waters of Colorado and the Rocky Mountain west for many years. Her good fortune allows her to fish Colorado twelve months a year, and her appreciation for trout is evident. In addition to fishing her home waters, including Cheesman Canyon and other stretches of the South Platte, Kay ventures on a yearly road trip to the northern Rockies of Idaho, Montana, Alberta, and British Columbia, to find native trout in waters off the beaten path.

Kay began guiding professionally in 2001. She brings a wealth of information and fly fishing techniques that will serve our clients well. This woman can fish!
Living in the mountains, she is always ready to share the beauty and excitement offered by Colorado's rivers.

John Wolfe has been fly fishing and tying his own flies for over 40 years, the last twelve extensively around the Front Range and Rocky Mountain National Park, and has been a fly-fishing guide for six years. John has fished most of the well known rivers in Northern California, Colorado, Wyoming, and Montana, and has extensive experience fishing the high mountain lakes in both RMNP and the Front Range.
